Oil on canvas panel, 6x6--View eBay Auction Listing
This is a remnant from New Year's Eve's gourmet lobster bake which was cooked on my wood-burning stove in Schulenburg. My husband was actually able to find clams and mussels in Georgetown, Texas earlier in the day. A friend from Houston brought the lobsters. Along with shrimp, red bliss potatoes, corn on the cob, artchoke hearts, and poached garlic cloves--all in a white wine-based broth, this was sheer gustatory magic!
