Clam Shell No. 5

This painting is one of my few heavily textured ones. The water was sculpted with acrylic modeling paste and the sand is fine garnet gel. I then varnished the clam and the water for that "wet" appearance.
The image appears slightly blurry because I attempted to use my scanner to photograph it rather than a digital camera. The height of the water crests prevented me from getting a "good scan."
