Scotch Bonnet Seashell

We've had this seashell for years--it was found at the beach in either North Carolina or Florida (I can't remember which). I finally had to immortalize it.

    I'm so glad you've enjoyed it. Someone said that it was the state shell of North Carolina (where I was born). Is that true?
