Bay Oyster

Kristine Kainer
Oil on Canvas Panel (Museum Grade)
6x6

This little oyster shell has lots of purple areas on the inside which made it extremely unusual from those I typically encounter at raw bars and restaurants.  Of course, it came home with me to be immortalized in a painting.

NOTE:  I’m proud to have this painting represented online by UGallery. View my portfolio here: https://www.ugallery.com/Artist/Kristine-Kainer.

Blue Crab

Blue Crab
Oil
20x20x1.5

This feisty blue crab will remind you of life at the beach with all it has to offer:  impeccably fresh seafood, the calls of seagulls, salty breezes, waves lapping at the shore, and sand everywhere.  Wired to hang.

Blue Crab

Oil on Canvas Panel (Museum Grade)
8x10
Purchase Information

I recently returned from a trip to Galveston (4 hours away) with precious cargo: 20 pounds of live blue crabs! The entire weekend was spent picking, then feasting, then picking, then feasting, etc. I must say, the efforts (and sore fingers) were worth every morsel!
