First, I will need to rephotograph this painting again. The oils were still quite wet; hence, there are some glossy spots that look like white paint. Regardless, I love California rolls--especially with lots of wasabi. If I don't cry, then I haven't used enough!

Chinese Take-Out with Mandarin Oranges

Sometimes I crave Chinese take-out! Recently, while gorging myself on chicken fried rice, I was mesmorized by the box. These waxy works of "art" were originally used as oyster pails! Oysters were shucked by pros, then packed into these containers for transport home by housewives. Who knew?
