Whether made at home or enjoyed at an ice cream parlor, nothing beats a large scoop or two of creamy vanilla ice cream layered with a rich homemade hot fudge sauce on a steamy summer day.  Topped with a dollop of freshly whipped cream and a maraschino cherry,  this decadent dessert will melt your cares away.  Dig in!

Baking Day

Oil on Gallery-Wrapped Canvas
20 x 20 x 1.375
Purchase Information

This painting reminds me of my Finnish grandmother's kitchen in the Bronx. She was always baking something. Her apple fritters, though, were heavenly!

Pear Half

Yes, it was delicious! (I had to paint quickly--not because it was browning, but because it was breakfast!)

Chocolate Cupcake with Cherry

Oil on canvas on panel, 6x6--$50--Contact me for purchase info.
This is a heavily texture piece in that the icing was done with heavy oil paint and a palette knife. Frosting a two-dimensional cupcake was no easy task! (Note: This appears darker than it is in reality--lighting conditions were poor at the time it was photographed. Also, it will require a little extra drying time before shipping due to the thickness of the icing. Please contact me for details....)

Pear Meets Cookbook

Oil, Canvas on panel, 6x6--Click here to view eBay listing
Here is my warped sense of humor--a plump, juicy pear lurking over a cookbook that is opened to pear recipes. Words such such as peel, core, boil, chop, and slice are visible. What is the pear thinking? God save the cook.
