Free at Last
Acrylic on Canvas, 20"x20" -- $200-Purchase
This painting, also on exhibit at the Georgetown Public Library through September, is quite dramatic, especially with the size of the piece. I really love the contrast with the background and subject; plus, the color combinations are gorgeous. I even included a slight reflection of the egg yolk in the whites which, I think, adds more dimension.

Tearjerker

After a bit of a hiatus, I've finally put brush to canvas again. Rather than doing one of my small daily paintings, I did an enormous version of a yellow onion. I think the name is apropo.... This painting (along with one I'll post tomorrow) will be on display in the Georgetown Public Library through September as part of an Art Guild show. I'm looking forward to the reception!
