Doughnut with Sprinkles

Oil on Canvas
6x6
SOLD

Hello, blog visitors.  It's been ages since my last posting; please forgive me--life occasionally shifts one's priorities.
This was my daughter's doughnut; alas, she is visiting Grandma and it sat in my kitchen the last couple of days--mocking me.  Needless to say, I immortalized her chocolately treat before sending it to the compost pile.  No calories were consumed during (or after) the creation of this painting.

Chocolate Cupcake with Cherry

Oil on canvas on panel, 6x6--$50--Contact me for purchase info.
This is a heavily texture piece in that the icing was done with heavy oil paint and a palette knife. Frosting a two-dimensional cupcake was no easy task! (Note: This appears darker than it is in reality--lighting conditions were poor at the time it was photographed. Also, it will require a little extra drying time before shipping due to the thickness of the icing. Please contact me for details....)
