This painting reminds me of my Finnish grandmother's kitchen in the Bronx. She was always baking something. Her apple fritters, though, were heavenly!

It's Inevitable

I craved Toll House cookies. I had to let the eggs come to room temperature. The result: warm, chewy chocolate chip cookies on a rainy afternoon AND a daily painting! Two for the price of one.
