Art in Dick Blick Catalog

Two pieces of my art are featured in the new Dick Blick holiday catalog in their framing section.  Do you recognize them? Both the vintage christmas ornaments and partridge in a pear tree oil paintings are still in need of a new home.  Please visit my website (www.kristinekainer.com) for more information.

Framed Artwork

Recently, I completed a five-painting commission for the kitchen of a client.  These artworks were done on museum-grade panels which require framing.  My client was kind enough to photograph the paintings in their new home, complete with their gorgeous wood frames.  I'd say the frames were the "icing on the cake."

Prints Now Available!

You like the painting, but not the price.
Maybe the size is "wrong."

You want framing options.

The subject matter would be great on invitations, birthday cards, Christmas cards, notes, etc.

Fine Art America is now offering prints of many of my original paintings in a variety of sizes, finishes (e.g., matte, gloss), and materials (e.g., paper, stretched canvas, giclee). Click on the link to see the artwork that is currently available. (If you don't see a painting that you remember from this blog or my website, please contact me. I probably just haven't uploaded the photo and information to the site yet.)
Originals are great, but options are too!

Rustic Pear

Acrylic on Masonite Panel, 7x5 - SOLD
This painting underwent numerous background changes last year before I settled on the two-part "mottled" green. I still wasn't pleased with the result and took the painting to an fellow artist (who is an expert framer) for advice. She designed this combination--vastly enhancing my piece. Needless to say, she fell in love with it and is now its proud owner.
