This painting was inspired by an email inquiry.  Someone had seen a painting I did in 2009 and was interested in a print.  Alas, I didn't know how to photograph my art correctly at that time--any prints would have a low resolution.  Seven years later though, with a DSLR camera,  one of my favorite subjects, and (hopefully) and bit of improvement in my painting techniques, this painting was born and I now have a new client in Connecticut.  Thank you, Internet!

Happy Trails - Final

Here is the final version of my "Happy Trails" painting for Georgetown's Chisholm Trail celebration this fall. The painting is being professionally scanned for a banner that will hang on or near the historic Square. The banner will then be on permanent display at our new high school.
