ACEO/Art Card #4 - "Ketchup Squeeze Bottle"

Acrylic on Bristol Series 300
with Art Frame Card and Envelope
2.5 x 3.5

When I see a ketchup squeeze bottle, I think of picnics, barbecues, and diners.  I never eat ketchup, though, on my fries--malt vinegar is more my style.  Yet, these bottles are a piece of culinary Americana, regardless of taste preferences.  (Of course, a ketchup squeeze bottle is always accompanied by a _______ squeeze bottle.  Guess the subject of tomorrow's miniature painting....)

ACEO/Art Card #3 - Martini with Olive

Acrylic on Bristol Series 300
3.5 x 2.5
SOLD
I am addicted to olives.  Green, purple, brown or black, stuffed or marinated, they are in incredible snack and cooking ingredient.  Here is yet another little painting that pays homage to this meaty treat.

ACEO/Art Card #2 - Olive Trio

Acrylic on Bristol Series 300
3.5 x 2.5
SOLD

As mentioned in my previous post, I have entered the ACEO/art card field.  These miniature paintings--the size of baseball cards--are an affordable and collectible way to obtain original art.

I am currently selling these on eBay.  The paintings are lightly varnished for protection, then enclosed in a poly sleeve prior to insertion in a die-cut frame card.  A blank envelope is included as well.

I've just completed art card #31, so I have lots of posts coming your way and will include links to the items that are still available.

ACEO/Art Cards - Sunny Side Up

Sunny Side Up
3.5 x 2.5
SOLD

As I mentioned yesterday, I have several irons in the fire.  Greeting cards (in the infancy stage) are a new way to introduce people to my art.  An even more exciting approach (in my opinion, of course) is my line of "art cards" which feature ORIGINAL works of art.

Art cards, also known as ACEOs (Art Cards, Editions and Originals) are miniature original artworks that equal the size of baseball cards (3.5 inches x 2.5 inches). They can be collected, used as actual cards, given as gifts, or even framed and enjoyed for years to come.  (Ultimately, I hope my works will enjoy the latter idea.)

I began selling art cards on eBay (a common locale for ACEOs) a few weeks ago and have gained many new clients, both here and abroad. A few have purchased more than one for their own personal use.  Needless to say, I am quite pleased with the initial results.

I will post more of these little paintings in the coming days/weeks/months and provide links to the pieces that are currently available.

Enjoy!
