Witchhikers

Oil on Cradled Panel
6x6x5/8

While unpacking my fall decor, I came across this little painting I did in 2009.  I named it "Witchhikers" in a playful attempt to showcase the candy corn "hiking" on my daughter's Halloween witch hat.

Alas, it is time to find a new home for this piece to make room for new art.  I'm selling this on eBay at a sale price.   (Please note:  The white dots are a result of my shoddy photography work--I will reshoot, if anyone is interested....)

Peep Show (Marshmallows)

Actually, the real title of this is Peep Show. I added the "Marshmallows" so that you wouldn't think I was sending anything inappropriate. This was a quick painting--I found these things in the closet from last year (so much for hiding them from my little girl!!!!). Hope there are no hidden Easter Bunny eggs anywhere.... Bidding starts at $9.99--just for giggles.

Chocolate Kiss, No. 2

Oil on canvas on panel, 6x6--SOLD
Too late for arrival on Valentine's Day (without paying a boatload in shipping costs), but still good for your year-round sweetie (or sweet tooth).

10 Artists That Will Give You a Toothache

Many thanks to Sarah Norman who included my "Candy Apple" painting in her blog, "Tipsy Laundry" under the title, "10 Artists That Will Give You a Toothache." I was thrilled to see the other artists chosen--I have followed and studied the styles of several of them when I first began painting food a couple of years ago. What sweet recognition!!!! Thank you, Sarah, and thank you to my peers for the inspiration!

Tootsie Pop: Inner Beauty

Acrylic on Masonite Panel, 6x6-- $75 to Purchase
I couldn't resist doing one more in this series. We all drool over physical attributes, but the inner ones are the ones that speak loudly, right? (Actually, chocolate shouts....)

Tootsie Pop Au Naturale

Acrylic on Masonite Panel, 6x6--$75 to Purchase
Hugh Hefner would be proud. My model was completely uninhibited this time, showing off every curve and that skinny limb. Brazen.

Tootsie Pop Exposed

Acrylic on Masonite panel, 6x6 - $75 to Purchase
Yesterday, my model was modest, reserved, quite shy in front of my panel. Today is another story--flamboyant and completely at ease while posing. What will tomorrow bring?
