SOLD (Prints available) Growing up along the Eastern Seaboard, I was treated to amazing seafood, including delectable blue crabs from the Chesapeake Bay. Of course, the ONLY seasoning that could be used was the iconic Old Bay. This painting pays homage to both.

It has taken me years to correctly fry an egg without undercooking it (and having a cold, clear, watery puddle) or overcooking it into a hard boiled rubbery mess. With determination, I have finally conquered the technique.

As a child of a US Marine, we moved frequently. For two years, we were stationed at Brunswick Naval Air Station, Maine. Nearby, in Cape Elizabeth, was this hauntingly beautiful lighthouse known as "Portland Head Light." I've painted this as a gift for my mother as a reminder of our wonderful life near the sea....
