Oil on Canvas Panel (Museum Grade)
6x6
SOLD

It has taken me years to correctly fry an egg without undercooking it (and having a cold, clear, watery puddle) or overcooking it into a hard boiled rubbery mess.  With determination, I have finally conquered the technique.

Oyster with Lemon Wedges and Cocktail Sauce

Oil on stretched canvas, 20x20x1-3/8, View eBay Listing
Here it is--my newest (and all-time favorite) painting! I truly challenged myself with this one--not only the much larger size, but dealing with silverware, china, and a shiny, slippery food item (the ever succulent oyster!). I hope you will enjoy viewing this as much as I enjoyed painting it. Bon Appetit!

In Progress--Oyster with Lemon

Oil on canvas, 20x20--In progress
Here is my LARGE painting of an oyster with lemons and cocktail sauce. Still needs a bit of work, but I am pleased with the overall composition. Obviously, I am working from a photo I took--the oyster certainly wouldn't be pleasant to smell at this point....

Oyster with Lemon

Oil on Canvas Panel, 6x6--SOLD
We are now the proud owners of a gallon of freshly shucked oysters from the Gulf of Mexico. Needless to say, I've been snacking on them throughout the day (covered in horseradish). Slurp, slurp!
